Starting Your Dreams Later In Life and Embracing the Detour

Jenee Darden speaking at Creative Mornings I know it's been a while since I've posted anything but that's because of my job. I'm working as a reporter covering Oakland and I host an arts segment on the radio where I get to interview amazing artists from around the Bay Area. 1. Enjoyed your show last night. All your guest speakers were great. Your energy was refreshing and inspiring. I especially liked your story about your grandmother. I don't remember her name, but your friends story about the L word felt like what I heard when i was deciding what I wanted to do when I first went to college, except I was encouraged to draw and I chose not to pursue Art. Everyday I go to work I wish I did. I hope you all keep writing, I would love to hear and read more from all of you.

    Thank you for sharing

    1. Thank you Harun for coming and for the love. We're glad you enjoyed our performances. If art is your passion, it's not too late to incorporate it into your life. Even if you have to feed your artist spirit on the side. I'll add you to my monthly newsletter so you can attend readings in the future. Take Care!
